Deji was co-opted to the Council in March 2025.  Deji is a member of the Works & Events Committee.

Phil was elected to the Council in December 2024.  Cllr Braiden is a member of the Works & Events Committee, the Staffing Committee and the Finance Committee
Colin Foxall

Colin  is Chair of:- Staffing Committee, Finance Committee & Procedures Committee.  He also sits on the Planning Committee and is one of the Councils representatives with the Ernest Cook Trust and a Trustee for the Community Centre and one of the three representatives for the Ernest Cook Trust.

Cllr Simon Hersom

Simon Hersom was co-opted to the Council in June 2025.  Cllr Hersom is a member of the Finance Committee and Staffing Committee

Cllr Simon C'Connell is Chair of the Works and Events Committee. Simon is working on the environmental challenges for the Town Council, in particular EV charging points.

Cllr Chris Roberts is on the Works and Events Committee. She is also the Town Council representative for the Ernest Cook Trust and the Airbase Link.

Maria Shankland

Maria joined the Council in May 2022. Cllr Shankland is a member of the Planning Committee and is the lead Councillor for the Transport Plan

Cllr Derek Thornhill is on the Planning Committee and the staffing Committee. Derek is also leading on the multi-use footpath project and is a Trustee for the Community Centre and representative for the Ernest Cook Trust.

Niall was co-opted to the Council in January 2025.  Niall is a member of the Planning Committee.

Vanessa Lawrence

Town Clerk & RFO

Vanessa Lawrence has lived in Fairford since 1981, moving here from London.  Aside from living in Fairford, Vanessa has worked in the Town, since moving here.  Vanessa has been the Town Clerk & RFO since 2006.  She is CILCA qualified.

Roz Morton

Deputy Clerk

Roz has lived in Fairford since 2011 when she moved here from London.  She has been the Deputy Clerk since 2012. She is CILCA qualified
