There are a wide range of clubs and societies in Fairford, suitable for a variety of interests and activities. Fairford is an excellent base for starting out on many beautiful riverside and lake walks, some of which lead out to the Cotswold Water Park.

Fairford is fortunate in having a good range of shops and facilities within the town and every Wednesday there is an outdoor market in the Market Place selling a range of foods and other products, and an indoor Country Market held in the Community Centre, selling a variety of home- made foods and other goods. Refreshments are also available at this venue, making it a pleasant place to stop for a chat with friends.
